Last year was not a good year but it has ended now – the Christmas decorations are packed away and it is time to move on and look forward to the months to come.
So what am I planning for 2017 – well according to my horoscope – this is my year for creativity, money and reaching my long term dreams – so if you believe in that kind of thing (and I do only when it says good things!!) I have a lot to look forward to?? With a belief that it can happen – I can make it happen – right??!!
Business wise I have lots of ideas for new services, workshops on how to get a touch of vintage in your wardrobe, of course Norwich Fashion Week is only 9 weeks away and as always I have many events planned for the most fashionable week in this city’s calendar, and most exciting The Stylist and The Collector website launched just before Christmas so lots of fabulous vintage pieces need to be sourced – it’s a hard life to shop for a living!!
For quite a while I have wanted to get a book published on how to wear vintage everyday so my aim is to keep on writing everyday, keep working towards getting the message out there that vintage should be part of your everyday wardrobe??!!
On a personal level my primary goal is to get my health back to full strength, loose a few inches so the vintage is a little less snug, feel better in myself and to banish the negativity with my own thoughts and the people that I surround myself with!!
When both you and your husband lead busy lives quality time together tends to get put on the back burner so another primary goal this year is to take some time out to have some fun with my lovely hubby – we have had a few weekends away over the past few years but our last holiday was about 8 years ago so – that needs to be rectified so holidays, weekends away and adventures are on the horizon – time spent just hanging out with each other when neither of us has to be working!!
Mostly I will be hopefully making the most out of life as we are here for a short time. I will not sweat the small stuff, worry less, have more fun, dance more and have many more adventures in vintage!!
What are you plans and goal for this year??
