I can’t say that I am sorry to see the back of this year along with many other people it has been a pretty crap year all round – with the loss of so many wonderful icons of film, fashion, and music, Bretix and Trump becoming President of the US!!
The first 6 months of the year I spent in complete agony with gallstones but now post operation I can start to get my health, motivation and inspiration back.
It has not all been doom and gloom – one of the most exciting events was the launch of the first Stylist and Collector collection at Norwich Fashion Week with my fabulous friend and fellow vintage lover Jo Green. We are showing on the runway again for next year and have another Pop Up planned as part of the weeks events along with find many more amazing vintage pieces to tempt you!!
Celebrating another fabulous friends birthday I had a fabulous day in London getting a chance to drool over my fashion inspiration for the last couple of seasons – The Gucci Collection!!
I have seen some great bands at events and met some fabulous new friends along the way, and had fun getting my dancing shoes back on.
Meeting Jo Malone at her book launch was a highlight – her inspiration has gone a long way to getting me back on track after feeling so rubbish for most of the year.
Many fabulous vintage pieces has been bought, styled and worn with many that have yet to have an outing. Over the festive period I am going to take a few days off to spend some time with my lovely hubby and put together my goals and ideas for the coming year.
So all that is left to do is wish all you fabulous readers and followers a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year – thank you for reading, your comments and your support over this past difficult year.
Thank you xxx
