How to make the most of you clothes – one piece four ways.

This was the London adventure outfit.

It is very easy to have pieces in your wardrobe that just go with one other thing or to buy in outfits but I make sure that when I buy something that it goes with at least three other pieces I already own, that way you are creating new outfits all the time and making your clothes really work for you.

My recent purchase was a fabulous summer skirt from Retreat Vintage and I feel it is going to be one of my favourite pieces for this season. I wore it on my recent trip to London but it is going to be really versatile in my wardrobe so here are the ways that I have styled it up.

So my top tip for creating new outfits is when you are thinking of buying a new item just stop and think – will it go with anything else I have and then when you get it home don’t just stick it in the wardrobe have a bit of a play and see how many different options you can do??
