How to make the most of your wardrobe – Spring 1 piece 4 ways.

More outfits in my series of how to mix and match your wardrobe.

My wardrobe is a rainbow filled array of colours and you would think that it would be difficult to mix and match them all together but as Alessandro Michele for Gucci has shown time and time again with recent collections it can be done!!

I am tempted with seeing if I can do the “capsule wardrobe” challenge for a month at least and show how print and pattern can work as everyday wardrobe and that it doesn’t have to be neutral, bland and toning colours??

Maybe when the summer actually arrives and I can leave the house without having to wear 5 layers and a winter coat I will give it a go!!

In the meantime here is a taster of how to wear one piece four ways – featuring one of my favourite suits from Retreat VintageĀ

Suit Jacket Retreat Vintage – skirt Gucci style from Ebay, scarf charity shop.

For a more casual look – worn with vintage Levis from Lovering & Co Norwich market, vintage scarf with Paris motif a gift from a friend, gold shoes and vintage 70’s Dior bar via Ebay.

Skirt from suit with Gucci horse bit style pussy-bow blouse from Lou Lou vintage fair, sandals vintage Faith from somewhere??

Skirt worn with Prada style wool check cardigan from a charity shop, pearls and brooch vintage, gold shoes Top Shop.

Watch this space for updates of more outfits and if I take on the wardrobe challenge!!
